About The Awful Show
The Awful Show is no longer broadcasting new episodes.
We thank the thousands worldwide that joined us in our 4-year run and we hope you will keep an eye on FriendsOfTheAwfulShow.com to find out where our new projects will take us. We will leave this site up for an indefinite amount of time so people listening to archives can refer back for links and other episode info. If you need to get in touch with us, please refer to the CONTACT page for a plethora of ways to do so.

Who/what we are…
The Awful Show is an explicit comedy podcast that currently broadcasts a live show every Friday between 10 PM and midnight-ish, Eastern time (GMT -5) which you can hear at LiveVideo.com. We write and produce our own skits and amusing news and mix them with our own ranting discussions about whatever topic is under our collective skin at the time. Nerraux operates out of Reading, PA (near Philadelphia), Keyz joins us from Waynesburg, PA (near Pittsburgh), and Joel joins us from Denver,CO.
We’re three guys with day jobs working like mad to turn a fun hobby into something big…hopefully something self-supporting. If we could make it into a full-time job for each of us, that would be great, but that’s not the main goal. Mostly we’re just having fun and enjoying giving lesser-known artists and others a venue for free promotion.
Our listeners…
We have a worldwide, rabid fanbase that increases by 5-10% per month. The bulk of our trafic comes from the US, the UK, Australia and Japan. Every Friday our live show is simulcast through CringeHumor.net and TalkShoe.com. Our audience is predominantly male, aged 16-35, and possess above-average intelligence. They enjoy indie music and humor.
Interviews
We generally have an interview every week with indie artists, authors, filmmakers, actors, creators of unique products, and other interesting people. They range from 15 to 20 minutes and are very light and comfortable — like sitting around talking with good friends. As such, these talks tend to stray from the main topic at hand, but we find this shows a more personal side of the people we’re interviewing, and that’s what our fans love about them.
Being an online show, we don’t have to worry about the FCC, so conversation can flow freely with no language restrictions.
We generally record the interviews before the shows and then insert them for the download so we’re not pressed for time and because the occasional edit comes in handy as well, though we generally edit very little of our show.
